Just a thought. Do you think it would be helpful/useful/supportive to Local Group Coordinators if we had a section on the forum for Local Group Coordinators? We could support each other and swap fund-raising ideas, how the meetings are run/received, details of good speakers etc.

If enough coordinators were interested, we could ask for such a section. Waddayathink ? BigGrin

Warmest wishes to all, Ann

Hi Ann

I am not a local group coordinator but have run many groups through church, schools etc and I think your idea is a brilliant one. It is always useful to exchange ideas. There are so many benefits to sharing with other coordinators. Well done for thinking of it. I hope your idea comes to fruition.

Hmmm - guess that one died a natural death! And I would love to be able to swap ideas with other coordinators - just like we do at the Coordinators conferences Sad
Oh well - I'll just have to rack my brain a bit more!

Warmest wishes,

Ann (Monty)

Ann - it may be that there are not many co-ordinators on this forum. I think it's a brilliant idea and I also think you should have a word with NRAS regardless. I'm sure Jo, Lyn and Helly would join in as well as thee and me? xxx

I think it's a great idea Ann,

As Jean said I'm not sure how many of the co-ordinators pop onto the forum

It's certainly worth exploration.

Hi Ann

I too think it's a great idea but as Jean says not many group coordinators seem to venture onto the forum! That said perhaps having a specific area might encourage others to do so. Definitely worth following up because it has potential to be such an excellent resource. ThumpUp

Good to see you posting, hope you are keeping well Smile

Hi Ann I am now one of the co-ordinators of the Oldham group so would welcome any ideas. Especially suggestions for attracting new members and ideas for speakers. We only started in Feb this year so are still very new to it all.

Hope you are keeping well Ann.
